James and I both grew up in Downers Grove. We attended the same grade school, middle school, and high school. Even though we lived blocks from each other, throuhout our school years we knew of each other but never had the opportunity to become more than acquaintances. We each have a memory or two of the other from growing up, sitting in the same group for part of sixth grade for example. Although, we do not have many memories of each other, we do share a lot of the same memories because we shared part of a childhood history. So many years later, with many twists in each of our lives, we reconnected on Facebook and what started out as a friendship has blossomed into a cherished love. 

Our ceremony will be outdoors, surrounded by nature. We will be doing a sand pouring ceremony, that will symbalize that not just James and I are coming together that day but we are becoming a family; James, Tyler, and myself. It is very important to us that Tyler is a part of this very special day because he is a very special part of us. We hope to share this day with all of our family and friends. 

The ceremony will be a time for everyone to come together and celebrate. The food will be great, the bar will be open, the dance floor will be lit, and everyone is going to have a great time guaranteed!!

We both wanted to go somewhere romantic with sun and sand. With the help of the travel agency, we found the perfect destination. On May 26th, James and I will head to Riveria Maya to spend six nights soaking up the sun, sand, and adventure. We plan to spend some of our time relaxing poolside or carribean side but we also want to do some water sports, check out the Mayan Ruins, and check out the night life. 

James and I would like to thank all of our dearest family and friends for simply being here for us. You all have done so much and made such a difference in our lives. We cherish the love you give us.
